I have to be honest
The room upon entering seemed cool enough. It doesn’t smell which is refreshing. Unfortunately I found a couple random hairs in the room near the night stand and 3 in the tub. My headboard had fingerprints all over it, and one of the beds seemed slept in, and someone left a fork in it. Needless to say I couldn’t get comfortable. I felt a little gross and tried not to think about it. My first couple of night I felt itchy in the bed, till the third night I ditched the top sheets and bought a blanket from Walmart. Then all was well.

The room had a really bad odor, I had to go to the super Walmart to get air freshener and scented candles in order to stay in the room, the furniture was extremely out dated and smelled bad. The cleanest thing in the room was the bathroom. I thought about sleeping in the tub. When I arrived the receptionist was texting on her phone and I had to say hello 4 times before she responded. I don’t usually leave reviews but something had to be said. I think sleeping on a park bench would have been a better option.

My daughter , her 2 1/2 yr old son and myself (74) yrs old was checking in and ask to use the bathroom and was denied ( bathroom door locked desk clerk didn’t have key .. only housekeeping did , she didn’t even call them for the key!!! Told us to go down road to gas station !!! ( which we did 😕) she said we were early and and room was not ready . I understand that and was ok with it .. but it was not peak season ) I came back later and ask for a luggage cart and told me to go look for it ( I did..) I couldn’t fine one … so walked back to tell her and she finally called someone to bring it up . Not very friendly or professional to us . The rest of the stay was fine . I will try another location next time . I believe her name was Stephane . 7/13/24 Frostburg/Cumberland .

Overall, just what we needed after 80 miles on the GAP trail. Room was spacious even with our bikes. Hot shower, comfortable beds and quiet location. A bit inconvenient to get to on a bike but that probably isn’t their target demographic and frostburg has limited options anyhow. Front desk was helpful, no complaints
