Disappointed
The room was dated, however clean...nice view overlooking the sea...nosey at night. Breakfast was dreadful...no choice and had to wait to be served...cold!! This is the 16th time we have been to Malta..last minute booking so our normal hotel was booked up...will not stay here again, not the 4 star quality we are used to 😏

Staff were great. Bed was not changed once in whole stay. Advertised with pool but pool and terrace was closed whole stay so had to pay 20 euro each to go on pool opposite until Wednesday then went up to 35 euro each as summer started, not good to have to pay extra when advertised with pool and terrace

Good points: location, attentive employees, part brand new building ( my room with new bathroom). Bad points: Booked the hotel with pool and roof top bar, both were closed everyday. Very limited facilities- the reception in the photo does not exist and there is not even one sofa or armchair there to use, but only a few chair. Breakfast very very basic, limited and exactly the same everyday.

Location good. Breakfast good, you could take anything you want but it was behind the staff. Room was old but clean. Window was giving inside the building, to the corridor, so you had to keep curtains closed all the time. Air conditioning didn’t work at all and because of the direction of the window, you couldn’t have fresh air. It was HOT and stuffy. Otherwise, we could go again.

Italian school groups out of control.
The hotel was occupied by Italian school trip groups. The school children were just being kids - unfortunately this meant they were running around the corridors in groups up to 2:00am. I complained about the disturbed sleep and was moved to a different room away from the school children. Still it wasn’t good and I would advise you check before booking.

Very basic hotel it is no way a 4 star rated hotel and the price was too high for our stay there. There were better hotels at lower prices. They show the swimming pool but this was not open to use. The room we were given was terrible with no external light coming into the room. We had to pay extra for a room that had external light coming in. The breakfast was poor it had not much option. Only Pork/ham items in breakfast for meat - this was not suitable for us as we do not eat pork. What about having chicken items as well?

In the bathroom the flush gets stuck every time. The air conditioning is loud and you can't sleep and it's dirty, you can see it with the naked eye. Hair dryer broken (despite reporting, nothing happened ). The general condition of the room and hotel very poor and not encouraging. The breakfast is not good and not even filling because the woman behind the glass puts it on the plate and if you want more she looks at you frowningly/ almost angry - despite all you can eat breakfast. The only advantage is the view from the 7th floor and the location

There's a lot to like about the Kennedy Nova. It's conveniently located in Sliema, surrounded by many wonderful restaurants. It's located directly across the road from the sea, so the view is stellar. It's just a short walk to the Sliema-Valletta ferry for your eventual trip there. The room we had was comfortable, though not overly large. Unexpectedly, there was a breakfast buffet that was well-appointed and quite tasty. The staff was quite friendly and allowed us to securely store our luggage before we could officially check in, but also in the period after we had checked out but weren't ready to go to the airport. Pickups for ridesharing or taxis are easy, and there's a bus stop nearby as well. The only mild complaints were that the air conditioner in the room struggled a bit to keep things cool and while the water pressure in the shower was adequate, it wasn't great. Those things are definitely not enough to overwhelm a wonderful stay.

Decent - serviceable.
Incredible location. So many bars, cafes, shops and restaurants around. Very close to all public transportation (to and from airport, as well as all over the island.) The lobby/breakfast area and bar are all gorgeous. The gentleman working at the front desk when I checked in was so friendly and helpful. The only thing I will say is the property (well, at least my room) is slightly worn down. The air conditioning didn't really work in my room and it was very warm. The toilet didn't flush properly and the water ran. The wifi in my room was very weak and barely worked. However - the place is still VERY serviceable for a quick stay. Price is right, and had way more positives than negatives. Those were more just minor inconveniences. Oh, if you get the "sea view", it's fascinating. The balcony in my room was divine. Highly recommend that.

Nous avons réservé un lit double mais avons eu des lits jumeaux. Après négociation à l’accueil nous avons eu un lit double qui faisait du bruit ! Tous les bruits de la rues s’entendent. Ascenseur bruyant aussi. Il faisait trop chaud dans la chambre, obligé de mettre de la climatisation.
