Location can’t be beat and it appears there has been a surface update/ refresh, but there could have been more emphasis on guest comfort- beds are worn and on the firm side. Elevators are VERY worn and beat up. And of note, our first day we didn’t notice it but on the second our entire floor smelled like sewer back up. When I asked the front desk, they said that it was actually a paper mill on the river that emits exhaust that resembles sulfur and sometimes their AC system drains in the smell, but it’s ok?
Again, it’s doable, but when you are paying historic riverfront prices, I would expect better.
