The room number on the outside door was hard to read at night. Key card didn’t work on the room’s outer door or the nearest entrance, so after parking our car outside of our room, we had to walk around the building to the main entrance and walk through the building to the inner door to our room.
The shower experience was rough. They have a shower/jet tub combo with glass walls surrounding it. To turn the shower on, you either have to have a long reach across the tub, or you have to stand in the tub. There is no indication of which side of the faucet knob is hot or cold, so it took over a minute of running water to figure it out (point the long end of the handle to about 7 o’clock and pull outward). The shower head was pointed towards the shower door, so I got wet standing there messing with it. Make sure you take the bath mat out first- they leave it inside the tub area. The shower gel and washcloths are out by the vanity, so don’t forget to bring those into the bath with you. I would not recommend that anyone with balance issues stay here, as climbing in and out of the tall tub was tricky- the door wouldn’t stay open so you have to deal with that while trying to keep yourself steady. There’s an old timer knob on the wall that doesn’t go to anything, so don’t bother with it.
The mattress and pillows weren’t comfortable. The blinds make it difficult to peek outside at your car. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly.
