We arrived late afternoon & ordered dinner from the restaurant. The staff mixed up the menu order & gave my travel partner (with severe food intolerances & disabilities) my spicy dish. The dishes looked similar, so we only realised this after my travel partner had already eaten a portion of my spicier dish. This then resulted in my travel partner becoming severely ill & missing a full 3-days of a prepaid (€450) 4-day business confernce event at the hotel, all due to this staff incompetence. Also, when we drew this to the attention of the staff at the time, there wasn't even an apology & they were put out, that we were merely asking for their mistake of suppling the wrong menu orders to us, to be rectified. At the time, I actually ate the wrong order brought out to me. But in retrospect I should have also insisted my wrong dish was likewise changed. However, unfortunately all the damage was already done. Their negligence resulted in my travel partner (& my carer) with severe food intolerances & disabilities, then being severely ill & confined to their room, trying to recover from the staff mistake for 3-days. In addition to being out the hotel costs, my travel partner also lost €450 ref the prepaid conference expenses for an event they were unable to attend. In summary, the staff negligence & inattention resulted in a complete disaster of a stay for us both. If you have any food intolerances, allergies or disabilities beware, I wouldn't recommend this Scandic Rosendahl Hotel!
