The view was spectacular. However, there were bugs all over the bed when I checked in and I can't figure out why. If the prior client left the patio door open and the bugs got in, I can understand that's not the hotel's fault...but how didn't they catch it when they cleaned the room?? OR, maybe they cleaned the room with the patio door open...I don't know.
The housekeeper who came to change the beds gave me brand new linens, which was awesome, however, someone had left period blood in the sitting chair, so he had to go and find another cushion for us.
There was also mold in our shower ceiling.
Otherwise, I was annoyed that the staff of the lounge was circling our table like vultures while we ate breakfast. They were asking us what we wanted so that they could break down all of the other stations. We could literally not put our cup on the table without someone coming to collect it or asking if we were done. Then they stood around while we ate, so I finally asked if they shut down after breakfast, because we were the only family there and the woman admitted that they do. They were quite obviously ready for us to leave, even though they must not have been closed because a woman came in right before we finally gave up and left.
The only other thing was that on the second day of our stay, housekeeping came in while we had the DND sign on the door...thank goodness we were fully dressed! The day we checked out, the housekeeping cart was in the middle of the hall when we cameout
