Sadly, we did not enjoy our stay. Compared to other locations to stay in the area, this one had some of the best reviews. However, I feel somewhat obligated to share my contrary experience. Upon arriving, the stench of mildew/something (?) in the room was so alarming. I walked around the room trying to figure out where the smell was coming from. In searching, I found several strands of hair throughout the bathroom and shower, and started finding small at-home remedy-like devices for moisture control. Later, I took my shoes off and felt the carpet was wet. The entirely carpeted room was wet. Mortified but exhausted we stayed the night in there. When we packed up to leave in the morning, all of our luggage and clothes reeked of the mildewy stench. When checking out, I let a staff member know that our room was wet and gross. The employee apologized and sent me on my way. To be frank, I wasn't sure how to navigate the situation. But what I do know, is the staff members absolutely had to know (ideally if they visited to clean) the room reeked and the entire carpet was wet (as it was incredibly ripe), and even so, gave us this room. In retrospect, I wish we'd slept in our car, and paid just shy of $200 to camp in the parking lot. Speaking of, the lot has litter surrounding the pavement, poorly contrasting the beautiful view behind the building.
