Pictures look too good than what you see when you get there. I wasn't expecting a 5* hotel, I travel quite often and seen hotel of all types.
I booked a non-smoking room and it seemed there was a ventilation issue and somehow smoke and cigarette smell was coming into my room from the bathroom, probably from another smoking room upstairs. I was only there for 2 nights, but if I had stayed longer I would have asked for an room change. After some hours the bathroom smell awful and even the towels smell like cigarettes. Additionally, and although my room had the "no smoking sticker" on the mirror, there were several cigarette marks on the curtains. So definitely that had been a smoking room...
The whole hotel is now in front of a construction area, so there were construction noises from early morning. Not to say that if you are so unlucky as me and get noisy and drunk people in the room door you won't be able to sleep. The walls are like paper. I think it's something the hotels should tell people in advance. Something as a small message when you are booking the room telling you that the hotel is in a construction street and there might be noise.
The hotel rooms are old, but it's quite clean and nice. The rooms and mainly the bathrooms could be upgraded. I still don't understand how you can offer a queen size bed and have no sheets to cover the full bed... I woke up in the middle of the night and I was literally sleeping on the mattress.
Therefore, I would not go back.
