The front desk staff seemed less than pleased to do their job, which is, by definition, hospitality. The two young women (one day shift, one night shift) were just shy of being unfriendly and displayed an attitude of barely tolerating having to speak with the guest (me). When I contacted the desk to let them know a dirty wash rag had been left in the shower, the night time desk clerk said--oh. Well. Sorry about that.
The dining staff were amazing and beyond personable.
The hotel needs an update, especially for the price paid. The pillows - well. Bring your own.
It's further out from river street than you'd think, so if walking is an issue, pay the extra money for something closer to the water.
