Reserved online. Online the room said pet friendly under “included in stay” so i didn’t think it would be an issue to have my dog with. A few days in, i was told by front desk that i had to pay for my pet, to which i replied ok that’s my bad i thought it was included in the cost of my pet friendly room. The owners then lied and told me that my fiance explicitly told them that we had no pets (she never spoke a word to them, as i got the room online and i was the one who checked in to begin with). I didnt have the money at the time to pay, as i just paid for 8 days upfront. So i told them that i could pay them thursday morning, as i get paid Wednesday night. They said that was fine, then on Wednesday around 4pm they called my room, requesting me to come to the lobby to pay them, even though i had already told them that i would have it thursday morning, and was told that it was fine, and that is what i told them during this phone call. About an hour later, two people from the staff come banging on my door, demanding me to pay them after i already told them more than once that i simply didn’t have it yet, and as soon as i am paid they will get the pet fee. When i told her i was waiting to be paid, i was told to make it faster. Terrible experience, terrible owners.
