We had a very nice 3-day stay in one of the cottages. It was very quite, and the beds were very comfortable with an electrical blanket. The cottage was quite well equipped and there was heating.
We had a great trip to Doubtful Sound, which the lady at the reception helped us to book.
Unfortunately, the weather was quite wet, and the cottage was a bit damp. We asked for an extra change of towels as they did not dry well in the cottage.
We went to Te Anau for dinner as the local pub mostly seems to have fried food. We found a nice Indian Restaurant, and the Thai place in Te Anau was very busy. There was also a bakery in Te Anau that sold pies, including vegetarian pies.
