Lovely hotel in the heart of the old quarter, it’s tucked away in a quiet alley away from the noise, some trendy restaurants and cafes on the same street. We had the 7th floor to ourselves with connecting rooms, it’s surprisingly quiet for a hotel located in the old quarter.
Rooms were lovely with large comfortable queen size bed, air condition, safe, hair dryer, smart TV, limited hangers though. Bathroom was okay, seems a little run down, the shower was either too hot or too cold. Some sockets didn’t work and no USB sockets. There is a kettle with tea and coffee, fresh bottles of water was given daily.
Location is great, all within walking distance to main attractions. A little further from the French quarter. From Friday to Sunday there is a night market within 8 minutes walk from the hotel.
The staff at the hotel are amazing, so friendly and always willing to assist. Wi-Fi is hit and miss, it’s very slow, might be better in the lobby.
Breakfast is in a different hotel which takes less than 1 minute to walk, it’s does an okay spread, but is limited. Not a lot of hot food options for vegetarian. But overall it does the job, my kids loved the pancakes.
Highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.
