I'd chalk up my experience as a good example of you get what you pay for. Staff were friendly and willing to help us with whatever oddball questions I had about their policies and the shuttle service! As far as the room goes, well, you get a room. Rooms are heated/cooled using an A/C unit on the wall by the window, which made for a rather cold arrival until turned on. Room was clean aside from an odd smell that I never really found the source of along with a hair-clogged shower drain, which I didn't bother calling for maintenance and dealt with it then and there. The bedframe was rather long for the mattress that was there, and I had snagged my ankle on it more than a couple times. I just put my pack right beside it and that solved the issue for me.
I wouldn't call it the best hotel experience I've ever had, though on the other hand I was strapped for cash as far as lodging funds went. As far as what I was paying for a night here, I feel that it was a pretty alright experience. All I was looking for was a place to drop my gear and a roof over my head, and it delivered!
