Some things were great. Room was great, food was great. Service was great for the most part.
Not so good:
Requested a rollaway bed when we made the reservation, called them to tell them I wanted a rollaway bed, I told them at check in we wanted a rollaway bed. I texted their number saying I wanted a rollaway bed. 2 hours after check in....no rollaway bed. 3 more calls and texts to their team and then the bed shows up. No apologies, no nothing.
The other thing I didn't like is they charge a "resort fee" but you don't get anything for it. They give you a card that says that the resort fee is cover "wifi" and towel service at the pool. Meanwhile, you get the towels from one guy behind a counter...that requires a fee?
Additionally, they nickel and dime you for everything. For example, they list activities for kids, but everything costs money. Want to use the kids club? $100 per kid, want to partake in their smores thing they have? $6 for a graham cracker, one marshmallow, and a small piece of chocolate.
I understand there may be upcharges and things like that, but it seems like all these hidden fees are not disclosed when you book the room. ALL mandatory fees should be included in the list price, otherwise its misleading.
Overall we were happy but honestly I don't see myself going back there again.
