It is only a 2-3 walk to the nearest subway station, which takes you quickly south into Kowloon or north into the New Territories. There are multiple modern shopping complexes next door with many restaurants and shops.

The hotel's appearance is nice, but the interior facilities are somewhat outdated. The reception staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. The smell of cigarette smoke was noticeable on our non-smoking guest floor and in the lift lobby. Additionally, we had different inconsiderate, noisy neighbours throughout our 2-week-stay. Although the room floor is not carpeted (which is great for cleanliness), it was sticky and gross. The most disappointing aspect was that the indoor pool was closed for maintenance without prior notice, and it was too cold and windy to use the outdoor pool. Positive aspects were the nice view, convenient location, good size of the room and the very friendly and helpful housekeeping staff.
