We chose this hotel because it’s pet-friendly, as we were traveling with our dog, and it delivered exactly what we needed—clean, convenient, and comfortable. The room was fine and clean, the breakfast was good. The evening meal has many problems though, and although they took our details and said that some of it would be refunded, we never heard from them again.

It’s the second time I’ve stayed there in the last 6 months, solely due to its location based around my work. Unfortunately this will be the last occasion. In my opinion it needs a refurb. The rooms are looking tatty now. To add to this, the staff are not the most welcoming, especially in the restaurant. Just felt a bit stale to me.

Good location for a stop over
My husband and i stayed overnight on our way to Scotland. For ease of access off the M6, the location is great. Everything was just 'ok' at the hotel however, the bedding (inside duvet and pillows) were very smelly. The outer cases had been washed but the inside bedding smell came through. If i wasnt so tired at midnight i would have complained. Thankfully we were only staying that one night. The staff were very nice and did their best considering they were short staffed that morning.
