Good hotel, excellent location
While the hotel is located on a sort of side street, it is located in a rather safe area in the centre of the city (although you should always watch yourself and your belonging in Bangkok). The sorroundings are great, because it is busy area with a big city mall called Terminal 21 and a metro station only a block away. We preferred this area than the Rambuttri street one since this hotel is closer to the public transport and still in a tourist area.
As for the hotel itself, it was nice and clean. The room was not huge but then again it was very comfortable and it is excpected that hotel rooms tend to be smaller in city centres (you should see the sizes of the hotel rooms in Manahattan!). The room had safe deposits, a hair dryer, a table with chair and everything we needed all packed up in a tetris-like manner. The only thing I would critize about the room was that the shower was not placed high enough for me, and I had to duck a little bit to was my hair. And it is not that I am a very tall guy, I am only 1,71m (5ft 7in)!! Also, something was not well designed in tub as some water accumulated on the opposite side ot the shower and started to drip to the side, but it was not a big deal as we put the foot towel there.The staff was OK but not the best, sometimes a little bit slow and though respectful, not very friendly, just "neutral".
But the overall experience in this hotel was a very good one, and we would stay there again.
