All in all, the hotel was ok. The people were very nice and the continental bfast was also very good. The room was average. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty around the edges, and the towels were super-thin. The location was very good.

Our group stayed in both the hotel and camp ground next door. It was amazing! The Munising area is heaven for non-lazy people who love the outdoors. TO DO NEARBY: - Definitely hit Wagner Falls and Autrain Falls. (BRING WATER SHOES!!) - SandPoint Beach: Water is warm and clear (August 2-8) It is like being in the tropics.

Great stay!
This hotel is a chain with no owners on site. Typical of a chain as far as service goes. However, my room was spacious, absolutely clean and very comfortable. Some of it updated, some of it not. I had a King with a separate living room area. The shower was great. The bed and bedding was perfect. The internet, not so much. My phone didn't work most of the time there even though I was signed in to the internet. So, if communication is a must for you, maybe this isn't the place, but I didn't care. There was a free breakfast, but I never saw it so can't speak to it. They did allow my big dog and I appreciated that they didn't discriminate based on size as a lot of places do. There was a lot of property nearby to take him out for walks and potty breaks. The hotel is not right in town, but it is just a short drive away. I left something behind and they contacted me right away offering to mail it (which they did). I will absolutely stay here again when I go back in the fall and definitely recommend it.
