Hostel is pretty but rooms are extremely cold. Between 5 and 8 degrees. They have no heating to provide, just blankets, except that this means that you can't just lie in bed and read, chill in your room and getting ready becomes a challenge. Shower has a door on the outside so it cold always in there too. And while water is hot, pressure is ad, so you can't warm up.
Instead of staying the 10 nights I had booked, I asked for a refund after 2 (enough time to get ill by the way). They were supposed to give me back 116 dollars (after deducting 35% but whatever, just let me leave). They kept saying they'll give me the money "later" and on the final morning, they said they were going to give me 380 soles (106USD). I said no and the girl called her boyfriend by her side to try and intimidate me. I didn't let them bully me and they said they had 114 dollars, so I took it. As I was leaving, she shouted something about foreigners being bad. Boyfriend even followed us in the street to keep shouting at us.
I'd avoid this place like the plague!
