Clean room, kind and helpful staff. Breakfast was standard for the Venice region. The location is excellent for getting around by public transport, and the restaurant across the canal, with the same name as the hotel, is very pleasant. Unfortunately, we couldn't benefit from the 10% discount at the restaurant for being a hotel guest, as we only found out about it afterwards. The room's air conditioning was excellent. There is the option to pay a little more for a room with a view of the canal right in front, but if you are on the ground floor or first floor, you may only be able to see the public transport stop (as was our case). We were given a room right in front of the hotel's small kitchen, so early in the morning, around 6 am, the noise was quite bothersome. Another point is that the room didn't have blinds that completely closed the window, and there was a lot of light early in the morning (6 am), disturbing our sleep.

Breakfast had very limited options. They didn't even provide fruits. The staff at the reception was very rude. When we complained about our heater, which was running unnecessarily the entire night, he replied with a very rude tone that we atleast have a room with canal view. The room was very small and unnecessarily gaudy. It didn't had enough space for two people. Only thing which was better is the location. It is located close to the main station. Also, I would appreciate the cleaning staff. The hotel, the room, and the bathroom, in general, was very clean.

Nice hotel by the canal

At first the room looked amazing (we booked superior room), but by the week we noticed that the floors were very scuffed up, there were mold in shower, plaster was dropping etc. The breakfast was better than I supposed and the staff were helpful and nice. Vaporetto stops right at the hotel,so you don't need to walk if you prefer.
