Expensive but Probably Worth It
This is a rather pricey option to get some rest at the Qatar airport. Is it worth it? It was for me in that I think I would have been DOA otherwise, but it is worth noting that it's expensive and you can crash for free on a chair or bench elsewhere in the airport.
The 'hotel' is really just a room with a narrow and rather hard mattress. But there's a white noise machine that (mostly) gets rid of ambient sound as well as the walls completely block out light. You can make it as light or dark as you want as well as tune the temperature. There are also wake up calls available and the air is slightly scented (pleasantly, IMO).
The 'hotel' also comes with as much free coffee, tea, and soda (Pepsi products) as you want, which I enjoyed after my nap. You can also buy toiletries there if you didn't bring your own.
Again, it's expensive, but if you have a long layover and aren't traveling 1st class, it might be worth this to be able to lie down, get a quick nap, and feel a bit more human.
