Hotel is on "the" street, Calle 59, in the center of the Historic District, one block from the cathedral, Independence Plaza and Sea Gate with city walls.
The hotel was undergoing renovations at time of stay, and as a consequence, the room was dusty, especially the floors. The room was comfortable and provided with Google smart features.
Room was simplistic in design, with exposed ceiling beams, piping and cable ducting. Unusual but not unattractive. Bathroom was small and shower flooring of stone chips, very uncomfortable.
Hotel had in house restaurant "Menta". Good breakfasts and average fare for other meals. Food too salty for the most part for my wife. Service was super slow when restaurant was busy.
Unusual decor in common spaces and indoor restaurant seating. Very popular stree seating for al fresco dining.
Provided 10% discount for diners entered in the Ironman event the weekend of our stay.
