Booked accommodation Cityspace King's Cross for 24th to 26th May, was advised by email on 22nd that the apartment I had booked would not be available due to overrunning maintenance work, I was offered full refund or an exchange to their sister property in Leicester Square with a 20% discount. As I had a concert (non refundable at short notice) and travel costs (also non refundable at short notice) I accepted the swap in good faith. On arrival to the Leicester Square property, I was able to gain access to the property with access code however despite 3 attempts I was unable to access the room, I contacted the helpline and they remotely operated the door, I was still unable to operate it despite confirming with the helpline that I had the correct code. On entering the room, I was very disappointed to say the least, whereas King's Cross was an apartment this was a single room with everything crammed in. The photos on the website show the room when it was first appointed however I fear that may have been some years ago, marks on walls where furniture had been rubbing, wood trim removed from walls leaving unsightly gaps. The room was grubby to say the least, there was no cover on the ironing board, the bed was crammed into an alcove. I am not sure when the room had last been made up, there was a half empty bag of ice in the freezer, surely this should have been disposed of. I went out to the patio and all I could hear was the sound of air-conditioning units and the smell
