Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. The beachfront bure was nicely decorated, very large and overlooking the beach and ocean. We especially loved sitting on the patio enjoying the view. The staff was friendly and the pool was a nice spot to relax. However, the food was not great. The fish appeared to be frozen (surprising for an island) and the breakfast was the same underwhelming items day after day. There was the option to order eggs but they messed up my order so many times that I stopped ordering. Also, the first day, they had an abundance of fresh lilikoi and mango, but after that, it was the standard honeydew, pineapple, and watermelon. The Indian-themed night was delicious, but otherwise, we did not really enjoy the food. There's nowhere else to really eat except the island, especially if you get the all-inclusive package, so that detracted from the vacation. The hotel runs daily activities and tours, which were a nice option to get out and about. We enjoyed the complimentary kava ceremony and daily music. However, others were pricy for what they were. For example, the island hopping tour included dropping us off at Castaway Island for two hours and a little bit of snorkeling for 170FJ. Also, the sheets were very rough (my partner called them sandpaper) and there was broken glass in our shower upon arrival. Lastly, we were supposed to get a free bottle of wine on arrival, which was not there and we ended up having to ask twice to finally have it delivered.
