The hotel is very conveniently located at the center of town. It is easy to walk to various restaurants and and boutiques in the area. The hotel is extremely charming, with colourful and eclectic decor and vibrant artwork.
The pool was great, as we spent many hours each day there. Although small, the pool area provided a great place to relax. As we had our newborn son with us, we weren't always out in the town. The hotel had enough quiet areas for us to relax and read while our son slept in his stroller.
I also have to thank the wonderful front desk staff - both Luis and Hugo were extremely helpful. Hugo also helping me deal with issues with the car rental company, so thank you to them both.
However, the only complaint was the lack of soundproofing on the windows. Street noise easily comes through, especially during the time we visited, which coincided with 4 days of Day of the Dead festivities. Additionally, there was plumbing work going on behind our room, which was audible, until 12:30 am. Luckily, my wife used her phone app for some white noise. Normally it wouldn't be an issue, but we had our son with us, and we didn't want his sleep disturbed. But the owner, Debbie, was very gracious and apologetic when we told her the issues the next day.
