Good budget stay for short stay
It was a good budget stay. The hotel we booked was not available but it’s a chain of three or more so we were out next door. It’s basic but was ok for a night. Was as expected.

*There is a lot of negative comments around the hotel , but i wouldn't believe them* Overall I had no issues with azure hotel. The location was great , the roo. Was very clean and included a fridge. Parking was £12 for the night. Check in was over the road at a sister hotel.

There were refuges living there with children who were screaming and banging doors.early in the morning. My city view was a blank wall.

3 hotel check in
On arrival we were sent to another hotel but then taken back to Azure for checking in. Were told room was not ready, sat with several other guests waiting all unhappy about the service. After 20 minutes we were sent to 3rd hotel the Serenity where there was a room ready. The hotel was next door, smelt on arrival, no reception or signs carpet heavily soiled. Found room very basic but clean

No wifi for the entire stay despite me paying for a hotel with wifi. Curtains didnt even cover the window properly and the bathroom stank of waste water.

Wasn’t as advertised but was clean and good location, however we weren’t expecting a bunk bed.

This is not a hotel really but more of a hostel. There isn’t even a sign on the outside of it saying the name.

I chose this hotel specifically because it was cheap. Having said that it would have been nice to have been told in advance that I would need to pick up my room key in the hotel across the road. Also the security seemed pretty lacking, most of the time the front door wasn't locked properly.

Needs TLC!
Hotel is very basic. Room photos advertised did not match the room we stayed in. Key had to be collected from another hotel across the road (this is also the photo of that reception desk). Bed was comfy enough but rest is outdated, especially the bathroom but if just needing a room for the night, it did the job. Check-in advertised at 2pm, was advised it shouldn’t be until 3pm but we did manage to check-in early due to a room being ready. Is on a busy road so noise is heard all night long but it’s close to amenities, beach and town centre.

Dont stay at the Azure or Serenity. The serenity is old and everything is worn & stained woth carpets coming up, paint peeling, etc. We heard rats crawling in the walls at night, very disappointing. The Azure is where we booked but nothing was functional, electrical issues, rtc

Don't come here, what a waste of money
This hotel is not a hotel. It's a refugee staging post , and looks like it has been for some time now. The shower also didn't work , but the lady on reception didn't seem to understand what I was actually saying. The bathroom was probably very good in 1956 when I can only assume it was fitted. Tired, old, run down with zero facilities.

Worst hotel ever
Arrived early due to having to attend a wedding. The hotel let us leave our stuff, we then went to the wedding, i emailed the hotel at 2pm ro ensure our stuff was safe and that we wouldnt be back untill 10pm. Only to be told at 10pm there was no room for us, it wasnt their problem and we had to leave. They had all day to inform is of this Rude staff, place smelt awful. I then had to get a £150 uber home. Shocking service

Roma’s good but guests across from us made a racket till 3am. Arguing and shouting non stop. Manager moved us to another room at 3am as these guests wouldn’t move and apparently hadn’t paid. They should have been kicked out earlier in the day for not paying but instead were allowed to stay and disrupt our sleep for pretty much the whole night.

Awful
I payed £88 for a night for me and my partner, then had to pay another £10 for parking which i think is exesive. The room floors were filthy, some of the sink was missing and security cameras placed all over rhe place including one that was directly outside our room that pointed to it. The bed sounded as if it had tape on it and i found out someone had already complained . Safe to say i wont be returning

Wouldn't stay again
This place is not what is advertised on booking websites and feels like a bit of a scam. It's actually part of a cluster of hotels that are run on a shoestring. We booked 2 triple rooms at the Azure and ended up with 3 double rooms in a random hotel next door. We had no other option so this meant bed sharing amongst the group. Other guests experienced the same. No hot running water, which the proprietor feigned ignorance about (we overheard another guest complain about his cold shower when we were checking in, so they knew!) Even the UHT milk pods in the ancient second-hand fridges had less than 30 days on. They declined to give any sort of refund for the poor experience.

Pros great location room itself was clean and comfortable bed was great so comfortable we had a triple room great view small room but it had a fridge and a little dining table which was a nice touch! Bathroom was huge shower was abit dodgy but it eventually came out hot after running for about 10minutes on the hottest setting then it was too hot but I’d rather that than cold. Cons - had to check in at an alternative hotel. Noisy! No security or staff in the building and there was a room next to us with about 50people in it banging doors and shouting all night long. Front door was always on a latch. Parking terrible someone even blocked the main entrance door so we couldn’t get out the building major fire hazard!

Unsatisfactory
Stayed at Azure hotel recently and it was very disappointed. Unfortunately, our experience was far below our expectations. The washroom was not working properly. The air conditioning was faulty, making the room uncomfortably warm, especially during the night. Additionally, the TV did not work throughout our stay. They didn’t provide the basic things especially water when we have check in. And the room curtains were very small didn’t close properly, impacting privacy and sleep quality. Expected better for the price. Overall, these issues made our experience unsatisfactory.I will not recommend this place.

Not as advertised
We booked 2 triple rooms for our stay, specifically for 2 parents and a child, and 3 adults (bunk-beds due to no couples) in another. When we checked in, we were told that the triple rooms were all gone and given 3 doubles instead--in a different hotel next door. This meant that the 7 y/o had to share a bed with mum and dad, and 2 of the adults had to share a bed. Really not cool. To top it off, the place did not have hot running water, despite a guest who was checking out when we checked in already complaining about it. Cold showers all round. The whole thing is a shoe-strong operation and they clearly aren't fussed about customer satisfaction. Even the UHT milk had less than 30 days left on it. At least it was fairly cheap for a bank holiday and the rooms were clean, if dated. Be aware that there is no front desk in this hotel, you have to go to a 3rd one (!) across the road - Bourne Hall. Probably fine for a stag/hen-do, but wouldn't take family there again.

Don't book here unless you are ready to accept the very poor organisation, service, and general condition of property. I booked a room that offered 2bunk beds - with 4 separate beds as we were a group of 4 males attending an event (The booked room showed 4 separate beds, including one bunk which should have been a double bed on bottom and single bed above). This was as shown in the photo which also showed a well cared for room. In reality when we arrived we were offered a room with just one double bed and one single bed. After negotiation we were taken to another hotel aroung the corner where thare was a room with one double, and a bunk bed with two single beds. This was accepted because one person had needed to withdraw from the visit (luckily). The room itself was in very poor condition, including a damaged and dirty carpet. There was mould on the ceiling in the shower and on one corner of the bedroom. The smoke alarm had been covered with a plastic bag and sealed to the ceiling with tape. etc etc.

2/10 Poor

The property itself was clean and adequate and was good value for money and if we wanted to do another night out in Bournemouth we would stay here again as in a good location HOWEVER - we had a dreadful experience when checking in - when we arrived there was no one on a front desk and reception was all locked up, we rang the phone number and was told we needed to check in with the staff at the hotel opposite so over we went, confirmed the booking and that we’d booked a premier quadruple room. The lady on the desk said that the room we booked was unavailable but they have ‘upgraded’ us to a suite in their hotel - so we said great got the keys and up we went to the most disgusting room I’ve ever seen, it smelt so badly, a mixture of weed and mould, wallpaper hanging off the walls, stains and water marks all over the walls, bathroom gross, bath side fell off. Dark dingy horrid. I had to go back down and ask to be given the room we had booked in the other hotel, again I was told that room was not available, I had to get a bit assertive and say that I have a booking confirmation that that room in that hotel was confirmed (they also had it on their paperwork) and that we wanted room we had paid for. She phoned the manager of the other hotel who came over after a little time - low and behold with the key to the room we had booked in the other hotel. I’m not sure what the two hotels were trying to pull but we were not going to be forced into taking accommodation we hadn’t booked.
