A Beachfront Haven
We lucked upon a vacancy in this hotel when our air B&b did work out the setting right on the beach with chairs in the private garden was perfect the two young women who staffed the desk went out of their way to be helpful the rest of the staff was friendly rooms are basic but clean hotel is near lots of restaurants unless you want delux this is a great choice go for the ocean view rooms

This is a great beach front hotel for those travelers who don’t want to pay the full price for a beach resort (I.e. the Dirria next door!). But since both Perla and Dirria have the same owner, Perla guests get to eat at the breakfast buffet next door. The buffet has everything (hot items, omelette, waffles, fruit station, pastries etc. highly recommend this hotel!

I am so happy I found this gem! It’s right next to the super touristy Diria hotel, but offers the same ocean views. My room (#6 btw) was right in front of the ocean. The staff is super great, both Naomi and Pamela-thank you. The complementary breakfast is incredible since it’s from the Diria next door (e.g., typical Costarican food and foreign, like waffles and omelets). So if you’re looking for a quiet, laid-back, incredible ocean view stay right at the center of Tamarindo, look no further.

I needed a room just for one night before I left Costa Rica the next morning and the lady at the front desk was super helpful and very friendly. They have security there until midnight I’m pretty sure which is nice . It’s also right infront of the beach so the view is amazing , they have a pool as well that I didn’t get to check out because I had to leave and free breakfast at another really nice hotel less than a block down. If I came back to tamarindo I would definitely consider staying here again. The AC wasn’t that best but I’m sure they would fix that if you asked them too but since I was just there for the night I didn’t bother .

TRES BRUILLANT. 1-Nous avons eu la pire des chambres (la 1) qui est juste a coté de la reception: toute personne entrant sortant de l hotel passe devant, ce qui en fait une place tres bruillante; complexe pour coucher nos enfants en bas age... 2-Un garde veille a la securité de l etablissement la nuit. Il fait des appels telephonique dans le corridor, et nous a reveillé a plusieures reprises. 3- notre chambre donnait egalement sur la rue, une rue tres passante par des camions, voitures, motos, ... en tout temps. La chambre etait tres propre, l acces a l hotel 4 etoile de l autre coté de la route est un plus et le service pour les bagages tres accomodant, raison pour laquelle nous ajoutons une 3ieme etoile. La plage de Tamarindo a enormement changé, on se croirait au Niagara du costa rica, ou a Disney de Miami. La nature n y est plus, et a fait place aux hordes de touristes. Enfin, Tamarindo est la place la plus chere que nous avons visité au Costa rica, un soupé coute le double que la moyenne que nous avons payé a travers le pays.
