Good boutique art hotel. The standard King Room was really beautiful and comfortable. Comfy beds and pillows, nice rain shower. Probably more like a 4.5 star hotel than 5.
We were celebrating our anniversary and hotel sent an email but didn’t follow through on crm. Staff very attentive and friendly but it lacked a little bit of that special vibe we have felt in other Melbourne hotels.
Food and drinks were great in all venues, although being charged $6 for a small glass of sparkling water in Marmelo was a negative experience.
If you have an iPhone you won’t be able to cast to the tv so no option for movies, just tv. Wifi sketchy as well.
We stayed in a room close to elevators, the rooms are not soundproof, being on level 4 we could hear people partying on the street outside QT on Sunday morning but hey that’s Melbourne. You can hear the lift. Recommend a higher floor or request being on the wing.
Beautiful big windows with a window sleep, a shame they didn’t think to put a cushion on the hardwood. Overall 4/5, good, attentive friendly staff
