I recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptional always friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the hospitality truly made me feel at home. The facilities were well-maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable though it looked bigger in the pictures but quite small. The location was also convenient, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Generally it was a good stay. Dogs barking at night kept you awake some nights. Staff were friendly. Air conditioning leaked on two days and had to keep reminding staff to put toilet rolls in toilet. Overall stay was good.

The room was very nice, the area was great, everything close by. The breakfast was terrible....and they charged me $6 dollars per breakfast, when it was not even worth $2....The kitchen staff spoke no English and the staff overall were not so friendly. No one came to pick up trash, bring clean towels, no cleaning was ever made until the last day we were there. An uncomfortable atmosphere on the staff behavior.

***Mold and Bed Bug Alert*** During our month-long honeymoon, we stayed at three hotels in Dubai and four hotels in Turkey (Antalya, Cappadocia, and Istanbul). Unfortunately, our experience at the Sur Hotel was nothing short of a disaster. We had chosen this hotel solely for its location. Upon arrival, we noticed several concerning issues. The hotel's ceilings were covered in mold, which posed a significant health hazard. Additionally, cabinet doors were broken, and we encountered bed bugs in our room. Since it was late at night when we checked in, changing hotels immediately wasn't possible. My wife started experiencing difficulty breathing and severe coughing during the night. The following morning, I attempted to cancel our nine-night booking early due to the unacceptable conditions. However, the owner or manager refused any refunds and simply told us, "Take it or leave it with no refunds," adding, "Do whatever you guys want to do. I don't care." We intend to contact the booking website and our credit card company for assistance, but we strongly advise others to steer clear of this hotel for the sake of their health and safety. It was undoubtedly the worst night of our honeymoon. I'm not typically one to write reviews, as I'm an easy-going person, but this experience was beyond anything I could have imagined. If I could give a negative rating, it would be -100. Please, do not stay at this hotel.

施設は小規模で、民宿のような施設です。本館と別館があるようで、本館はエレベーターがないのは要注意です。ただ、荷物は運んでくれます。優しい女将さんがチャイやトルココーヒーを入れてくれます。古さはありますが、清掃は行き届いていると思います。眺めの良いテラスでとる朝食は最高です。
