The Riad is in a poorly lit alleyway in the Medina, which was dark at night and didn't feel safe for a woman to walk to it on her own. Compared with the Riad at which we stayed in Fes, and another Marrakech Riad at which my friend stayed, the rooms and the food at Riad Sable Chaud were very mediocre.
I stayed in Riad Sable Chaud twice, a week apart. For the second stay, I was downgraded to a tiny room next to the communal area, which was very noisy with guests arriving late at night, even though I had paid in advance for a more expensive room. The Manager wasn't very polite, however, the two female staff were gems - couldn't do enough to help.
