The owners of the hotel were lovely, and there was a great deal of information about the local area, with a range of leaflets.
We had a room in the hotel itself, none of which appeared to have terraces or balconies, unlike the extension, but was very comfortable, particularly the bed.
Shower pressure was good with plenty of hot water.
WiFi was good and was a secure connection.
We paid extra for breakfast, which was plentiful with a good choice.
The road alongside the hotel can be quite noisy, and you can also sometimes hear people in the room next door.
But we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back if we were in the area again.
This is described as a ‘no frills’ hotel, but don’t let that description put you off staying there.
