Unfortunately the ‘villa’ we booked was not quite how the pictures made it seem. Quite abit of damage and rubbish around the outside of the property. The pool was disgustingly dirty and the hotel manager told us ‘that’s just south Africa’ also to be told on check in, don’t worry about the rough locals - just keep your blinds down…not exactly what we paid for. Being 500m down the road from the hotel made it feel quite isolated and unsafe.
We booked the hotel because we needed abit more space than a typical hotel room would provide - we have a 6 month old baby…however given that it is not advertised that it’s not part of the hotel then that meant we left 3 days early due to the above.
No refund was offered and the owner was due to call…never did.
Overall really disappointing - I rarely write a review but this was worthy, especially given the rate was nearly £400 a night
