Hotel Biz is a great property for travelers eager to immerse themselves in Korean culture. Tucked down a green brick alley it is close to historical sites, traditional and chain restaurants, convenience stores, subway and bus lines.
Some mobility notes - The elevator stops between floors so a walk up or down a flight of stairs is required to get to your room. The elevator is also on a landing up a flight of stairs above the reception area. The front entrance is up a small incline with steps over both main doors. The bathroom in my room had a high tub which could be hard for some to get in and out of and the shower was a handheld with a wall mount.
I was able to leave my bags in the reception area after check out. The Airport Limousine (bus) stops about 3 blocks away. It was an easy walk to and from the hotel. The landing by the elevator has a refrigerator with affordable beverages and a free water dispenser to fill bottles or make ramen. There is also a microwave and coffeemaker.
The room included full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, instant coffee, tea, an electric kettle, hair dryer and slippers. The bed was firm and comfortable.
Bring earplugs. The walls are thin. I slept perfectly with mine in.
This is obviously an older property but don’t let that deter you. I appreciated that the staff would help me practice my Korean. Everyone spoke English too. I had such a nice stay.
