Perfect Nights Stay
It was absolutely perfect, from the moment we were greeted by the person at the front desk to last moment we were saying good bye. We were only staying one night and didn't know what to expect but the price was right and the access to the Skywalk were the reasons we chose Hyatt Place. Now we are staying there again because of everything else. The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the free breakfast was spot on. Great job and thank you!

The staff at front desk were good; courteous and informative. Room OK, but unimpressed with bathroom. Lighting was dim, adjustable showerhead didn't work well at all, and the shower door didn't close properly. And the price I was told I'd have to pay to park in the garage across the street was insane for downtown Des Moines on a nothing weekend. It was more like what I'd expect for San Francisco or Chicago. Breakfast was OK, pretty standard for selection and quality among this level of hotel. Otherwise, pretty average.

I found my stay at the Hyatt Place hotel in downtown Des Moines to be a good experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast good, and the accommodation nice. The hotel is a little worn for wear, but it was very clean and a great value for the price while I was attending a conference in the city. Overall, I would choose this location again should I need to travel to Des Moines in the future.
