Excellent
Everything was perfect, except that the hostel needs to get cleaners doing a better job with the ensuite rooms.

Cheap… if your stuck and know were else to go
The beds were so uncomfortable only one pillow, this is expected for a cheap stay, bathroom was in a mess, paint was peeling of the ceilings, if your stuck for a bed and very little money it’s perfect.

Miss leading advertisement
Me and my partner come to stay at the ph hostel for one night as it was one of the better priced options in the city. Because of this we wasn’t expecting lots but however at the bare minimum you should be provided what is advertised such as WiFi and breakfast.
The guest WiFi didn’t work and when we went to reception to ask if we could use the office WiFi they declined.
The breakfast seen as photographed on the website is none existent! We thought we was getting a bargain full English for the price of a fiver only to be told that they only provided cereal and refillable coffee

Clean and warm room, comfy bed, good price - great
Great place to stay for a few days. Room was clean and warm and the bed was very comfy. The shower was good . The bathroom door lock was broken which wasn't an issue for us but might have been for others. Also the toilet seat was loose. It was a shame that the reception desk in the hostel wasn't open and you had tomejter and exit through the bar which my young teen found uncomfortable. I understand there was a shared kitchen but I couldn't find signs for it and it wasn't mentioned by staff - I'm sure I could have asked. However, overall a very pleasant stay - near Bold street for good food and the uni. Would happily stay again

Never again!
As you enter the building your met with a trendy looking bar /recption but once your in the room. The rooms arnt as described or pictured
Very dusty and dirty mold around radiator
Also our radiators were broken so we couldnt turn them down or off so was a sweat box even with both windows open... not ideal for a family stay having windows open to just be a managable temperature but ment we could.hear everything and sturggle to get a good nights sleep
When speaking to staff memeber on the first day about the issues we was met with "we know about it" then walks away

A standard room's a very good option when staying in Liverpool, a bit more to pay than a dorm bed but quiet, en suite and very comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient and the hostel's in a great location. Recommended.

For a family of 4 (2 teenagers), this was a cheap and convenient way to visit Liverpool. The accommodation was fine for sleeping in and the communal area had a very calm, chilled vibe. Hostels are supposed to be basic so if your expectations are realistic, you'll be pleased with this place. A huge bonus is the car park opposite which cost £5 for 24 hours. Don’t forget to take a towel with you!
