The hotel is located in the center and close to the Castle, which is nice. There are many guests—almost too any, and the restaurant and spa were often crowded. The room was fine although I didn’t need cleaning after the first night.

Good location, surrounded by convenient shops. It has it's own parking places. The room was a bit small but manageable for 2 persons and few days staying. Amazing thing was it has private onsen and provide free yogurts and ice cream after the onsen, and also free ramen in the evening. Walking distance to a few attractions such as the Kumamoto castle.

If you want both the convenient distance from Kumamoto Castle and the famous Japanese big bath with SAUNA, this is it! They also offer very convenient laundry system at very reasonable (or I'd say too great deal) price which is really helpful when you travel in Japan. The facility is super clean, with cheerful staffs, and we really enjoyed tasty 'Yonaki-soba' (warm noodle service in the evening).Thank you for the memorable stay.

I made the reservation last minute due to change of plans, and I was pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable price and service of Dormy Inn Kumamoto. Dormy Inn Kumamoto is located right in the center city where the action is: there is the main shopping area and Kumamoto Castle within 10 minutes of walking distance. Dormy Inn Kumamoto itself is excellent because it has a spa included with a Sauna (which is kept at a good hot temperature) and a nice outdoor hot spring (yes, it is actually a hot spring). If you read Japanese, the comic selection which guests can borrow (up to 5 during one’s stay) is excellent. The front desk is efficient and kind as well.

후쿠오카 는 자주 갔는데 쿠마모토는 처음 입니다. 위치는 사쿠라마치 버스 터미널 바로 앞입니다. 구마모토성 도보 10분 거리 입니다. 길 건너 쇼핑몰 지하에 큰 슈퍼 마켓 있어요. 1층에 무료로원두커피 아침 마다 굿~. 아침, 저녁으로 온천이용 좋았어요. 작지만 알찬 온천탕 이었습니다. 온천 이용후 먹은 아이스크림 맛있게 먹었어요.
