Really good, but not quite excellent.
Had a really good stay at Mercure Sheffield Parkway. Had to mark down slightly on a couple of things. 1, had a problem with the tv, which was sorted, but then happened again. 2, bed was comfortable but found the pillows a bit too firm. Otherwise the room was very good, with plenty of space, and a good bathroom especially the shower which was spacious and hot. Really handy to have the small fridge too. And dogs allowed , yippee.

Warm welcome from reception. Good to complete most of check-in online before getting to the hotel. Room was spacious thanks to upgrade to privilege room. Very spacious bathroom. Liked having a fridge in the room. Large comfortable bed. Breakfast was mostly good. Hot food could have been hotter. Like having a proper toaster and butter from a butter dish. Hotel is on an industrial estate so no other restaurants in walking distance. Food in restaurant was ok but nothing special.

10 min drive from the city centre
Overall a lovely stay in a hotel conveniently located for drives into Sheffield City Centre. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Unfortunately, the chair at the desk was very uncomfortable but I am sure that if I requested for it to be exchanged, it would have been. The option not to have the room cleaned daily is given which is good for the environment but a bigger bin in the room is needed for this option. Also, it would have been good to have more than one biscuit in the tray on arrival in a room that sleeps 4.
