Price was right. Breakfast was included. Room was impeccably clean. Well located in the old town - about a 1/2 mile walk from the rail station.

Nice and clean rooms, good service from personnel. However for the price per night there where very little to no extra services; no wifi, no parking, no balcony. Also the room in the extra building was very noisy in the evening and night. Besides all that, we had a pleasant stay.

Excellent option, very good price
The service was very kind from each employee. The room was really clean and the bed despite was so antique, it was very comfortable and firm. Variety of options at breakfast was OK, no options of bakery. Every space was very clean. 1 room key should be available per guest. Expectations exceeded. Excellent Location! Wifi available just at restaurant area. I would recommend this hotel!

Would never stay here again. Walls are paper thin, and the room doors had to be slammed shut. Shower wouldnt t drain and had to be shut off multiple times while showering so it wouldn’t flood. The room overall just felt gross.

Avoid this hotel
This is my worst hotel experience in Germany ever! The room was nice and tidy, but is was situated in an annex by a road with a lot of traffic in the morning rush. The breakfast was a disaster. Me and my daughter arrived at 9.30 (my order said breakfast til 10 and a sign on the counter said 9.45. There was no more coffee, eggs or juice. When I asked the staff for more, they said the breakfast was over and told us to leave. This hotel has a lovely facade, but it is obviously understaffed and badly managed.

Fine historic option for an evening
Very historical hotel, with everything that comes with that distinction. Overall, it was an interesting stay, fine option. But I will definitely remember the hole in the wall and the sloping stairwell. I booked 2 rooms very last minute, so I can't complain. My brother stayed in the Napoleon Suite, which was quite cool. So don't expect mod-cons. And big warning for those coming back to the hotel at night if you are staying in the section accessed by the spiral staircase - learn how to get from the evening backdoor through to your room. It's not straightforward and led to some very irritated people. We were alerted to needing to use a different door, but the front desk attendant never told us how to get to our side of the hotel after using that back door. Interesting decor really builds the aesthetic

Hote with two sides
Wow this is a hotel of 2 halfs. One is the original hotel located above the Restaurant and breakfast room. This is located in an ancient part and a slightly more modern part. We stayed in room 5 on the 2nd floor of the oldest part. We need to climb the circle stairs to get there. There is another way using the newer part but Is quite long way but there is an elevator and you still need to climb 1 floor of the circle stairs to get to the room and a few random stairs. Room is in the old part. No WiFi working. Bathroom and room is quite big. Was really clean including the carpet. But no denying it’s old. Even though everything is good working order. There is a huge crack in the wall of the room and the wallpaper bulges at places. The shower works great and closes well. But you can see cracks in the tile. But the worse must be the bed. The mattress is so soft when you lie in it…you drop inside the bed a few cm/inches. Great when you lie it’s great, but when you need to get out. And you have mobility issues it’s a nightmare. You need help and it’s quite a painful experience as the bed is a robust old oak bed. This hotel is not for lesser mobile or if you carry a lot of luggage. The other part of hotel is an annex 400m away. Here is no lifts for 3 stories and for breakfast u need to go to old hotel. Best part of this hotel besides the historic building is the location. Simply top notch. 100 m from everything. Parking, old town, mosel and busstation.

Nightmare
A Nightmare in Disguise: Avoid This Unsafe and Creepy Hotel I recently had the unfortunate experience of booking a stay at what can only be described as a nightmare in the form of a hotel. This establishment, left me feeling unsafe, disgusted, and eager to escape within an hour of checking in. Allow me to share the details of this disastrous encounter. First and foremost, the lack of basic safety measures was alarming. To my disbelief, this hotel had no elevators, forcing guests to climb up treacherous flights of stairs. These stairs were in such a deplorable state that I feared they might crumble beneath my feet at any moment. It was clear that maintenance was not a priority here. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was equally appalling. The hallways were dimly lit, creating an eerie atmosphere that made me question my decision to stay there. The carpets were stained and sticky, showcasing a complete disregard for hygiene. The room itself was no better; the bedding appeared to have not been changed, and the bathroom was in dire need of a thorough cleaning. The staff's attitude only added to the nightmarish experience. From the moment I walked through the door, I was met with indifference and rudeness. It seemed as though the concept of hospitality was foreign to the employees. Our inquiries and concerns were met with dismissive responses, leaving us feeling ignored and unimportant. As the minutes ticked by, I realized that this hotel was not a place I could endure for min
