Dear Expedia, We booked a room at this hotel after reading it's description. However after being shown to the room we were taken by surprise that it did not come close to the expectations of it's description or price. My wife used the bathroom first thing and toilet did not work which was very embarrassing for her. The room looked like $60 room not the $140 we booked.... not even close! We talked to front desk explaining that we're not comfortable with the price compared to the written description of the facility and what we discovered. There was no manager on site so she got one on the phone. He explained there was nothing he could do about the price. I said ok, we're leaving. While we waiting to talk to the manager, another guest expressed their displeasure and said they we were leaving after one night. The next day we saw them and they said the inclusive breakfast was one fried egg, 2 pieces of toast and one cup of coffee. They were discussed with the hotel at that price..., ok place for $50 a night but no way over $120 a night! We would hope Expedia would refund our money for this booking. I have stayed at many, many hotels and cabinas all over Costa Rica and other countries for over 35 years, never, ever have I walked away from a booking.... never! This hotel was way over the top misleading and way over priced. The grounds and room we're at $50 per night facility, not $140! Please refund our money. Sincerely, Mark
