Hidden expenses (parking, VAT) Great view of the port from our top floor room but no cupboard (open self unit instead) and no chairs. Tiny tiny bathroom (shower and toilet only) with inadequate lighting.
There was a large group of S. American labourers staying at the hotel who were quiet and not bothersome at all but we were asked to sit well away from them and the buffet in the dining room.
Breakfast was quite sad, the workers had had their breakfast very early so when we arrived at 9 there were just scraps of salads left in the bowls, dried out eggs and bread, no butter, no Nescafe (we had to ask then wait). We were the only two people in the dining room and the staff were cleaning the floor as we sat there. We have stayed at the hotel before, when it was known as The Theodore and it was great, this time it was very disappointing. It's a great location with a good view but thats all. Shame
