My room was with a view of the Castle which overlooked a very noisy and busy street. At night it was very hard to sleep, even with the good quality windows which blocked the outside noise partially. The area is very close to Tbilisi nightlife and at weekends is quite noisy with drunken revellers enjoying Tbilisi. This was added to by street dogs barking all night, and Georgian Police vehicles hooting their sirens to move taximen parked up nearby. All of this made sleeping almost impossible. The ensuite WC had a serious issue with odour eminating from the pipework, an obvious problem with the drainage system which left a terrible stink in the WC. The ensuite door had to be left closed at all times to prevent the smell spreading to the bedroom area. Beeakfast was ok but more cooked options would have been welcome, the veranda is very nice to sit and have a morning coffee. This is the highlight of the day when staying at this hotel, its calm and relaxing unlike the night time. The hotel is ideally situated in central Tbilisi for all tourist attractions, is clean and welcoming but its far too noisy in the surrounding area to be called relaxing.
