This is a very modern, attractive hotel with large, well appointed rooms and stylish common spaces. The location is slightly outside the main flow of street traffic, but in less than 5 minutes you are in an area with lots of restaurants etc. And it was nice and quite, with good air conditioning, guaranteeing a good night's sleep.
The one issue we had was around parking. I had specifically chosen this hotel because it listed onsite parking in the same building as the hotel. We arrived in Poitiers after a very long day of driving, so I was quite distressed to be told the onsite parking was unavailable because of construction. It turned out that the alternative option (parking in the public Hotel de Ville parking lot) was very nearby, but it was actually quite hard to navigate to, since Poitiers streets are labyrinthine. Not what I needed at that point in the trip. It ended up being fine, and and I will note that that desk staff worked hard to try and help us. But a disappointment to not have an amenity that was a specific reason I had booked the hotel.
