We had the private villa with the private pool . It was treed all around ,like an oasis. It was a place you could just stay in the room and be happy . (we had the darma villa) . The room came with breakfast. We booked transport online from the airport before we arrived ($27 for an hour and half drive) . We also booked a tour online (which we liked ,it had a guide) , but a taxi to the monkey forest is cheap ( i was told $8 return) it's a great place to stay

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights with some family. The hotel is slightly out of the main centre of Ubud, but the hotel provide a regular shuttle bus free of charge and taxis are very reasonably priced. We booked the ‘basic’ room which was great, plenty of room and very well equipped with everything you’d expect and more. The hotel is fairly small but has all the facilities you need, spa, pool, bar, restaurant etc. We had breakfast included which was very good, with plenty of choice from the menu. The staff are all lovely, very friendly and attentive. I’d certainly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We had a villa with a private pool which was completely serene. The staff were friendly and always available to help or answer questions. Menu was delicious with many options. The drinks from the bar were incredible! I would recommend the strawberry and mango daiquiris. The rooms were comfortable. The only suggestion I might have is if they could provide more drinkable water in the rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, shabby and dirty
The room we had was beautifully situated, a little worn. Some things seemed a little off from the start, like a dead bird on top of the four poster bed, door that did not close properly, shower and hot water in bathtub not working. Bird was removed, the rest remained. In time hygiene was a problem: half drunk welcome drink was not removed and attracted ants, ketchup stains were still there after four days. Front house kept suggesting that all problems were tended to. Great location, come with low expectations and you’ll be fine. Wouldn’t stay there with kids.
