winter sun!!
Stayed at the avenida for a friends 70 birthday we requested rooms with a balcony overlooking the pedestrian pavements which we recieved.Check in was quick and staff very friendly hotel has just reopened after refirbisment our rooms were lovely and white and airy,beds were proper divans so comfy,towels changed daily.The food and drink were excellent we went a.inclusive.Right bang in the centre of old town one street away from sea front.Cabaret shows and music is geared up for the spanish but when in spain join in,If you want the nightlife of the new town it is only 3 euros by taxi or a 30 min walk.Small pool area up on top floor with sunbeds adequate for adults not for children over 5 yrs.I would say its an hotel for the over 50`s couples or singles if you were travelling alone you feel safe there.only negitive i wish there were seats outside on the pavement to have a drink of an evening to people watch.
