The staff were prompt, friendly, and accommodating. Elias was very helpful in particular in accommodating my early morning arrival. The hotel is clean and secure, and the breakfast was very good. It is a historical building, so it has a lot of character. It is not the "fanciest" hotel, but it is well managed and excellent value.
The Barranco neighbourhood is probably the best area in Lima to stay. It is the arts district with plenty of local restaurants, pubs, cafes, art galleries, etc.
