Wow! This is a tiny hotel that is really special. Located in a lovely old house, it has the charm that bigger hotels lack. Water, tea and coffee are available in the lobby. Paid breakfast gives you a meal at Caffit, a favorite of visitors (service is slow and the restaurant is a 7 minute walk away so it’s not a speedy experience). The “hot tub” was more of a bathtub in the yard, so I didn’t use it but the courtyard is a lovely place to sit and work or enjoy a drink. The hotel is very convenient to Emek Refaim and there are many buses that run nearby. I appreciated the hotel staff, who were very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel!

We discovered this gem a few years ago when we were walking in the Emek Re’faim neighbourhood and were determined to stay here on our next visit to Jerusalem. It exceeded our expectations and was an absolute delight. From the impeccable and friendly service to the comfortable rooms, uniquely and tastefully decorated, welcome drink with snacks and all the thoughtful ‘extras’, the hotel oozes with charm and ambience. This nearly century old property has been completely updated to provide a wonderful quiet haven in the German Colony of Jerusalem. Right off of emek refaim street, but you’d never know it, that’s how quiet it is. Balconies are an added bonus, as are the quality cappuccinos at the front desk, and included breakfast from a nearby cafe. The staff is friendly and attentive as well, providing good suggestions on all subjects, from parking to restaurants. Would stay here again!
