Definitely not the luxury hotel stated.. Room was fairly clean overall, showers carpet and walls very much outdated and wore needs remodeling thru out, it looks to be over 30 years old. Restaurant/bar decent atmosphere, Had breakfast at the restaurant before check out and food was fairly good. Overall a okay stay for one night

Don’t believe the pictures
The room was dirty it smelled terrible shower head was tiny with no water pressure the ceilings in the bathroom were stained brown from water damage my toilet was leaking around the bottom I moved the bed to check for bedbugs as I always do no matter where I stay and behind the bed was so disgusting and dirty the carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in weeks only a few plug outlets worked the room said it was 3 queen beds it was actually 3 full size beds I stayed for my daughters cheer competition she had in Bakersfield and I’m glad I only stayed one night I will never stay at another clarion again

Felt Trapped.
If you like confusion, this place is for you. Gated parking is complex and confusing. $7 dinner offer was a honeypot. My first 3 choices weren't "available." At that point, I took a pass. Hotel is a complex of buildings, so moving around is inconvenient to say the least. Signage is inadequate so getting lost is easy. Many things in the room were broken. Doors detached, sliding closet door detached, etc. Bed was comfortable. So there's that. The overall experience felt like I was trapped. Hotel Khafka.

It was good enough for us
The good. Very polite and helpful front desk girls. Quiet rooms, safe parking and low price. The bad. Only one working and available plug for charging phones was in the bathroom. We unplugged the room phone and used that plug. No blankets on the bed. We had blankets in the van and used them. The breakfast was minimal without a working coffee machine. That said it filled our needs of a clean bed and shower.

Expedias fault! I’m sure the hotel is fine. I contacted Expedia to change the date of my reservation. The AI or person helping me said that she couldn’t do my request and that she would have give to someone else. Or would I like her to just cancel. I said yes please cancel and she didn’t do it.
