We stayed at Maximillian Lifestyle Resort for 1 night - there are few signs for the hotel and they don't read "Maximillian Lifestyle Resort", but rather “Zámecky hotel Maxmilian". The hotel is located in Loucen, one of the many very small towns in the area - all restaurant options close at 10pm at the latest.
Accessing the hotel lobby seemed a bit odd as we had to park our car on an upper level and then walk down a path followed by a large indoor staircase before arriving in the lobby - we never found or were directed towards an elevator that could bring us (and our belongings) back up to the parking level.
The staff were pleasant and able to communicate in English, the room was clean (no mini fridge though and a double bed consists of two singles that can't really be pushed together), breakfast was good, reception is open 24hrs, and a hotel reservation includes free access to a big park just metres away.
We wouldn’t hurry back there, but if you’re exploring an area nearby or need a place to stay before arriving in Prague, it’s worth considering!
