Prejudiced towards locals.
We were a group of friends from the island doing a small stay-cation. Upon checking in, our room was VERY MOLDY, and I couldn't breathe properly. The clerks who checked us in were quick to find us another safer room. I think they're the only reason this place has 3 stars. The rest of the stay became uncomfortable when a Ms. Joanna came into work. In truth, much of what she came to us with "aligned" with hotel policy. However, the delivery was almost rude and it seemed like a certain policy only applied to us, the locals. The day after checking in, extra guests needed to be accounted for which I learned via phone in the early morning. After her unpleasant and borderline rude phone call, she proceeded to send people to the room. Mind you, I had just woken up which I had expressed to her, asking for a few minutes. When the third person came and she called again with the same request, I was feeling very harassed by Joanna and the people she had "checking" on us. Fast-forward to me paying, Joanna then calls me back to tell me that I signed a no-smoking policy, and that she saw us smoking MJ on her cameras. I "couldn't smoke MJ" on the premises, despite smoking in the designated smoking area but the White and Spanish groups that were there for our ENTIRE stay were smoking MJ, Cigs, + blunt AT THE POOL WHERE THERE ARE CAMERAS, could. Joana also mentioned banning me from the hotel, and being kicked out without being refunded for it. Now you tell me if that's prejudiced or not.

Very quiet location. I have been to St Thomas multiple times. This is my first time staying here despite knowing of this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased when i got to my room. Overall, a great experience and i willbe booking a room here when i get back in December.

Pros: close to airport, walkable to town, has a pool, included breakfast was good and good views of the ocean. Very quaint. The staff was helpful and brought a fan to the room with bad ac. Cons: pool was warm and not skimmed. Power was somehow out for only half the property for the night. Wall a/c units and one room had an a/c that leaked and lagged. Cable box also did not work in that room. Neither a pro or con but this place has tons of stairs, so you need to be able to carry all your bags.

Not a bad place to stay at all, however if you are the least bit out of shape or older, be aware that many rooms require quite the hike up many stairs with luggage and no elevator. No offer of assistance was provided. If you have a room by the pool, it can be very loud when it's filled with kids screaming "Marco Polo". The restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday; the two days we were there, but don't miss nearby Virgilio's!! Amazing Italian restaurant and the Sea Bass was extraordinarily good.
