Amazing stay at the leaf ocenside. The beach is literally 2 mins away walking distance. Breakfast was good but avoid going there during 9-10am since it could be very crowded. The room will always have 2-3 mosquitos every night so prepare yourself with mosquito repellent or need to catch them every night before going to sleep

Not suitable for allergy sufferers.
I’m still awaiting a refund for my last night stay as I had to leave the hotel early due to lack of care in the restraint following my allergies. I told them at the reception and even told the staff when ordering and I still was given food with things I’m allergic to. My throat swelled up from this and they tried to explain that I should show a card to explain my allergy every time I go to the Restraunt? And the mango juice was heavily diluted. I wanted fresh squeezed juice and they didn’t give it. Other than this a generally nice hotel to stay. I will give a better review if and when I get my refund back which the management have emailed me to state is processing but also it doesn’t say on this app that it is being processed? They also said 45 days for a refund to be applied which makes me believe they say this so it’s too late to give a bad review… not too late for me though.

Spacious room and a really quiet place. Breakfast was very good and restaurant served decent food. We especially liked that sun beds were not only available at the pool, but in the beautiful garden, too. However, what we did not like was people “reserving” suns beds with their towels. And in many cases not showing up. Hotel says they would remove them, but didn’t.

Little oasis
This resort is perfect for people looking to have a little oasis getaway. We stayed in a Palm Villa and it was worth the upgrade. Very clean, great amenities, breakfast buffet was more than sufficient and staff were over the top friendly. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is not overcrowded and has tons of little restaurants. The pool area is small but beautiful and the resort is walking distance to shops and restaurants on main drag. Our only not so great experience was the food at their on site at their little restaurant (outside of breakfast). We tried a few times and just not good. But again you are so close to so many great restaurants this would not impact returning. Thank you to the staff for a great 10 day stay!

Great value for money
5 great days at The Leaf Oceanside (on a few bookings). Everything went smoothly and their New Year’s eve decoration and set-up around the pool was the best in the area as far as we could tell. Not a great fan of Gala dinners in general but my yearly teen kids loved it. Pools are not large but sufficient (partly due to being split in two - but mostly teens and adults in one of them which works well). Beach close by but given ‘second row’ then no sea breeze at hotel which makes it slightly more hot than a beach front hotels but also fewer insects. The vibe and hotel design outweighted the beach front hotels in my view (maybe aside from a few huts just by the beach at the Nang Thong resort). Lots if Scandinavians at the Leaf hotel (you pick yourself whether this is a plus or a minus 😀). Good buffet breakfast.

Relax & enjoy
Everything works at the Leaf Oceanside. Hotel grounds are private and there is enough space / sun chairs for everyone. Breakfast area is somewhat crowded at times and should be rearranged as currently the line to egg/bacon cook blocks access to most of the bufee dishes as well. Hotel is well located for a beach/relax holiday. Beach is just across the street and there are plenty of (other hotels') restaurants along the beach. There are also some inland restaurants like Running Deer nearby. To visit markets or temples you'll need a taxi which can always be caught by the hotel entrance. You should negotiate the price as the first offer is always overpriced.

Lovely staff, close to beach and main road
The hotel had a great location, just a short path to the beach and walking distance up to the main road. Stayed in a garden villa which needed a bit of a facelift. Openings around the door and windows let mosquitos in, but staff was very quick solving the problem with spray and electric repellant, so not a problem really. Breakfast buffet was totally ok, nothing specatular but enough to choose from. The staff was totally amazing, always smiles and very helpful. Without them, the hotel would have been nothing special at all.
